About Bernard

My name is Bernard. I am currently a second-year applied mathematics student at UCLA. I am also pursuing a specialization in computing.

Outside of attending classes, I am a reporter for the Daily Bruin and contributor for the Daily Bruin's Stack section. I contribute to several beats within the Daily Bruin, including Science & Health, National News & Higher Education and Campus Politics, mostly reporting on whatever catches my eye.

I am interested in pursing a career in fields loosely relating to computer programming, data science and journalism.

I enjoy reading about and reporting on information technology, sustainability and horology. My favorite publications include (but are not limited to) MIT Technology Review and Hodinkee.

I previously worked as a Lifeguard at Huntington State Beach.
